Super Russian Roulette pits a group of up to three adventurous players against a smack-talking cowboy, each taking turns putting an NES Zapper to their heads and pulling the trigger until only one person is still standing.
The dangerous play is goaded on by a cowboy with randomized facial features, outfits, animations, behaviors, and taunts. This cowboy will push the players into turning on each other, tease them, and keep the game moving with his banter. Should the players get sick of shooting themselves and turn the Zapper on him, some hidden actions may occur.
The developer, Andrew Reitano, has created a Kickstarter to fund the creation of actual NES cartridges of the game, looking for $20000. The game has currently raised over $60000, which has opened up the Taunt Contest stretch goal. Players can now submit their own taunts to be recorded for the game, with backers able to vote on which ones go in.
