Super Robot Wars DD Live A Live Event Launch Date Set

Bandai Namco has announced the launch date for the Live A Live crossover event in Super Robot Wars DD. After initially revealing the collaboration in late August 2024, the company confirmed it will add new exclusive content from Square Enix’s game on September 18, 2024. The in-game news page added that players will be able to obtain the Steel Titan piloted by Akira Tadokoro, along with the unit’s attack cards and the pilot’s skill orbs, until September 30, 2024.

The Steel Titan will bring all four of its techniques from the original game to this mobile strategy RPG. Metal Strike will be its regular attack, while Marduk’s Rage (a.k.a. Jomjom Bullet) and Halogen Laser will become its R-tier and SR-tier finishers, respectively. Babylon Kick will be the unit’s SSR-tier ultimate finisher.

The unit and most of its attacks will be obtainable by simply clearing the limited-time quest and missions. The attack card for Babylon Kick will only be available via a separate gacha banner. Obtaining the latter will also let players clear additional missions that reward materials to promote the finisher version of Metal Strike to the SSR+ tier.

Bandai Namco has also published the attack animation for the Steel Titan’s Babylon Kick on the game’s official X account:

The Live A Live crossover event will be available in the Japanese and East Asian Android and iOS mobile game Super Robot Wars DD on September 18-30, 2024.
