NetEase Games has launched the mecha anime-inspired action shooter Super Mecha Champions on Steam. The game is available in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Thai subtitles. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The game is a futuristic third-person shooter game where players can summon and pilot agile mechs. Despite an emphasis on the mechs, players can also opt to fight as the pilot themselves on foot. It also has multiple game modes with a varying number of participants. One of them is a survival battle royale mode involving up to 100 players.

NetEase Games first released Super Mecha Champions as a mobile game that launched worldwide on Android and iOS devices in July 2019. The company also released a standalone PC version of the game in June 2020. However, it clarified through the game’s Facebook page that the Steam version is completely independent from the other PC release. The game will only match players on the same platform client.
Though players of the original PC version will have to start anew on the Steam client, NetEase will hold a special event in April 2021 that lets them carry over unlocked mechs and characters to the Steam version.
Super Mecha Champions is available as a free-to-play game on PCs, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices.
