Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may be released in China, as they recently have had their copyright contracts registered on the Shanghai News & Publishing Bureau. [Thanks, Chinese Nintendo!]
This comes two months after Tencent and Nintendo’s official announcement that they were partnering to bring the Nintendo Switch into the Chinese market. Tencent has also recently put out job advertisements for a staff unit to oversee Nintendo Switch sales.
In order for the games to be released in China, they have to go through lengthy approval processes, and while the games have been provisionally approved as well according to the site, this is far from a confirmation that they will be sold. Previously, the New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe was also provisionally approved.
