Nintendo’s first Nintendo Direct 2019 announcement was Super Mario Maker 2. The sequel will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. It will be released in June 2019.

No details were announced. However, it will have entirely new features and elements that didn’t appear in the original game.

Super Mario Maker appeared on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U.
