The Wii U version of the new Super Smash Bros. game will include a stage based on Super Mario Galaxy, a screenshot on its official website reveals.

Additionally, director Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed via Miiverse that, yes, there will be Mario Galaxy-like gravity effects at play in this stage. Sakurai stated: “The pull of gravity emanates from the center of the planet, so this will require using brand-new tactics.”

Note that this stage has only been confirmed for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Earlier in the year, Sakurai shared that one of the main differences between the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game would be in the stages that each one includes, with the Wii U version including stages from console games and the 3DS version from portable ones.
