The first Super Mario 35 Bros update has arrived, but it doesn’t add anything new to the game. However, it does fix an issue that might have stacked the odds against you. Instead of swarming one area while you’re standing still, the 1.0.1 update will make sure enemies are distributed as you progress.
Here’s the issue some people might have experienced. Normally, as you proceed through the levels in Super Mario 35, you will see more enemies added to your screen as other people defeat them and target you. These are supposed to show up as you move forward. Before the patch, they would start invading your level even if you didn’t go anywhere.
Here are the full 1.0.1 patch notes for the first Super Mario 35 update from Nintendo Support. As this is an online-only game, you will need to update to continue playing.
General Fixes
- Fixed an issue where enemies would continue to appear within the current screen area without the player moving forward.
- Fixed an issue where certain player icons were not displaying correctly in Coin Ranking.
- Fixed other issues to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
Super Mario 35 is available for free on the Nintendo Switch for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. It won’t be available after March 31, 2021.
