Everyone who owns Super Bomberman R should head to their system of choice and download an update. A major patch has been released that adds new Bombers to every version of the game, new exclusive Bombers for most platforms, Castlevania stages, a Civilians Grand Prix mode battle rule, accessories, and Bomber Time.

Every version of the game gets Alucard Bomber from Castlevania, Caesar Bomber from Star Soldier, Mimi Bomber from Pop’n Music, Nyami Bomber from Pop’n Music, and Upa Bomber from Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa. In addition, almost every platform has some exclusive characters. The PlayStation 4 has Pipo Monkey Bomber from Ape Escape and Toro Bomber from Doko Demo Issyo, the Xbox One has Arbiter Bomber and Grunt Bomber from Halo, and the PC has Atlas Bomber from Portal.

A new trailer has been released, going over all of the Super Bomberman R changes. (It is hosted by Mimi and Nyami!) There are three new accessories for characters’ antennae, which are Pop-Kun I from Pop’n Music, a tetrahedron, and a yacht. Three Castlevania stages have been added. You can also take part in limited time Bomber Time events, which let you earn double the BP and gems when participating in Online Battle Mode at designated times.
