When Super Bomberman R was updated to version 2.0, it brought with it a whole new game mode. The Big Bang Grand Prix allows people to have teams of three face one another in a competition. This version also introduced Memory Cartridges for the original Bomber Bros. characters, allowing them to use the powers of the special Bombers that have been added along the way. To better explain how this mode and those skills work, a new cartoon has been released that goes over everything.

This Super Bomberman R animated segment shows Bomberman and his siblings learning about the Big Bang Grand Prix, seeing their competition and potential allies, and discovering the power of the Memory Cartridges.

Super Bomberman R is available for the Nintendo Switch.
