The site’s opening also has a specific focus on Aura Battler Dunbine. Mobile Suit Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino also worked on this title, and Sunrise first aired the show on Japanese television channels in 1983. The title has also been frequently featured in the crossover game series Super Robot Wars.

Sunrise has also uploaded a new experimental video titled “Aura Battler Dunbine Side L” on its YouTube channel. This video includes remakes of the show’s opening and ending animations, along with one of its renowned scenes.

According to the Japanese press release, the “L” in “Side L” can refer to “Legacy” or “Legend.” Sunrise will later publish a “Side R” video based on the same show. With meanings like “Respect,” “Refine,” and “Revolution,” the upcoming “Side R” video will showcase new weapons designed by Sunrise and new music from contemporary artists.

The Sunrise Robot Laboratory website is available in Japanese language. The first two titles that have appeared on the site are Aura Battler Dunbine and Invincible Super Man Zambot 3. Sunrise and Bandai Namco Filmworks will gradually add more titles in the near future.
