Bandai Namco have been teasing something special for the Summon Night series’ 15th anniversary on their official website, and the latest issue of V-Jump reveals the title as Summon Night 6: Lost Borders for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. [Thanks, Hachima.]
In Summon Night 6, players will get to experience the game’s strategy RPG battles on vast fields with elevation differences. Getting up on higher areas will give players the strategic advantage.
Similar to past Summon Night titles, you’ll get to summon out powerful summons to do massive damage and special effects to the enemies.
Raj: The male protagonist of Summon Night 6 who lives in Filluja with his partner named Patch. He makes a living by gathering things that fall from the sky.
Am: The female protagonist of Summon Night 6 who lives together with her partner Kilt. She’s one that doesn’t put much thought into things that aren’t important, but she’s a caring person.
Here’s a bit of the story for Summon Night 6:
One day, a meteor-like object falls into the “Cocoon World” of “Filluja,” where the protagonist lives. When Raj, the protagonist goes to check it out, it turns out that it was a creature that was summoned from a different world called Linbaum.
During this time, Am, who lives further away, also meets a different summoned creature from Linbaum. Raj and Am have their own objectives, and together with their new friends from Linbaum, they’ll go on their journey to the threaded walls that surround the Cocoon World of Filluja.
Summon Night 6 will release in Japan in spring 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
