People who have wanted digital copies of Studio Ghibli movies will have a chance to start building up a library on December 17, 2019. GKids will begin selling downloads of titles from the catalog online this month. Each one will be $19.99 and be sold through distributors like Amazon, Apple, Google Play, and Vudu.
Things will kick off with 20 titles on December 17, 2019. However, these won’t be the only ones to appear. The Wind Rises will be joining the library in 2020.

- Pom Poko
- Ponyo
- Porco Rosso
- Princess Mononoke
- The Secret World of Arrietty
- Spirited Away
- The Tale of the Princess Kaguya
- Tales from Earthsea
- When Marnie was There
- Whispers of the Heart
In addition, the HBO Max streaming service will offer Studio Ghibli movies in May 2020.
The next Studio Ghibli movie will be How Do You Live?, which is currently in development.
