With Street Fighter V releasing this weekend, Capcom have started a series of character introduction trailers, and we saw a bunch of them over the weekend with Rashid, M. Bison, R. Mika, Cammy, and Ryu.
Rashid:
Rashid’s V-Skill lets him flip through the air and roll under fireballs. His V-Trigger creates a slow-moving tornado that can extend his combos, pin the opponent down, and make his special moves safer.
M. Bison:
M. Bison’s V-Skill lets him catch fireballs out of the air. He can then absorb them to build meter or throw one back of his own. His V-Trigger lets him combo his special moves into each other, and also makes them more ambiguous.
R. Mika:
R. Mika’s V-Skill gives her one hit of armor while she performs a speech on the microphone. It also increases the damage dealt of her next command grab. Her V-Trigger tags in her wrestling partner Nadeshiko to apply pressure and extend combos.
Cammy:
Cammy’s V-Skill lets her slip past fireballs from a distance and switch sides with the opponent from close range. Her V-Trigger changes the property of her special moves, allowing for lengthier and more damaging combos.
Ryu:
Ryu’s V-Skill lets him parry any attack that isn’t a throw. His V-Trigger increases the amount of stun he inflicts. It also makes his fireball chargeable, and changes the property of his Critical Art.
Here’s a list of characters and their introduction trailers for Street Fighter V we’ve seen thus far:
