There’s an update on when people will finally see the Street Fighter V Dan DLC announced back in August 2020. While he originally had a Winter 2020 launch window, Producer Shuhei Matsumoto appeared in a video to reveal his new release window is February 2021.
In the segment, Matsumoto noted that working conditions changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, to both ensure everyone working on Street Fighter V would remain healthy. The adjustments meant that Dan will appear later than expected and that Capcom won’t have more news about the game until early 2021. He also thanked people for their support for the game since its February 2016 launch.

People last got a look at Street Fighter V’s Dan during Capcom’s 2020 Tokyo Game Show presentations. People could watch him perform Danretsuken, Gadoken, and his taunts.
While people still have to wait for Dan, there have still been some notable Street Fighter V additions the last few months in 2020. Namely, the Extra Battle costumes let existing fighters dress up as Fighting EX Layer characters like Skullomania and Kairi.
Street Fighter V is available on the PlayStation 4 and PC, and the Dan DLC will debut in February 2021. He’ll be followed by characters like Rose, Oro, and Rival Schools’ Akira Kazama.
