Street Fighter II: Champion Edition Micro Player Debuts

Back at CES 2020, My Arcade announced it would offer a Street Fighter II: Champion Edition Micro Player. It would essentially be a miniature arcade cabinet with real mechanical switches in its controls. Now, the 1/10th replica is available at Amazon, Target and other stores.

This replica cabinet is about 7.25” tall and includes the arcade version of Street Fighter II: Champion Edition. If you have one of these Micro Player models, only single-player matches are available. However, it offers multiplayer if someone has two cabinets. You can then connect the units via an included cord to face off against one another.

Like other items in the My Arcade Micro Player line, it includes other features to make it resemble an actual cabinet. Both its coin trap and marquee light up. It is also designed to resemble an actual Street Fighter II: Champion Edition cabinet. (The Arcade1Up cabinet has the same sort of look.)

This is one of many My Arcade Micro Players. The company’s lineup also includes Bad Dudes, Bubble Bobble, Contra, Galaga, Mappy, Pac-Man, Space Invaders,

People can find the Street Fighter II: Champion Edition Micro Player for $49.99. It could use both batteries or a micro-USB cable for power.
