Kinoko no Yama (Mushroom Mountain, known as Chocorooms in North America) and Takenoko no Sato (Bamboo Shoot Village) are two popular chocolate snacks released under the Meiji brand. Video game collaborations pitching both snacks against each other are somewhat of a tradition in Japan. In recent years, Splatoon 2 had a Japan-only Splatfest event focused on the Meiji chocolate war, and it appeared on August 2018.

Street Fighter 6 is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Capcom recently released new gameplay footage of AKI, the next character appearing in the game. AKI will release on September 27, 2023.
