Point and click game The Sea Will Claim Everything, previously available on the developer’s site and now out on Steam with new features, takes players to a storybook world with decidedly real-world problems.
The game, developed by The Talos Principle writer Jonas Kyratzes, takes players to the Fortunate Isles, letting them interact with the anthropomorphic animals who live there. These people all have tiny problems that need solving, and yet they all point to something greater being wrong in the world. Food is harder to find. Homes are being seized. Lives are being lost.
The Sea Will Claim Everything has hundreds of item descriptions, often humorous, to keep players entertained as they search for the items they need. The game’s visuals are also complemented with a dream-like soundtrack from Risk of Rain composer Chris Christodoulou.
