A Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition has been announced. Between October 7-13, 2020, people will be able to try out unreleased games.
The announcement came from Geoff Keighley. Which makes sense, considering he announced the Steam Game Festival Summer Edition back in April 2020. Here’s his tweet.
Valve is planning another Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition this Fall, running October 7 – 13. Another chance to play free previews of upcoming games.

For those who have never attended a Steam Game Festival, here’s how it works. Usually for a one week period, a special page opens up on Valve’s client. Select upcoming games are highlighted with demos that you can only play while the event is on. (Even if you have them downloaded to your PC, they stop working after the event.) There are also things like develop spotlights and streams.
For example, the Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition interviews and spotlights are still online on the official site. That last event was held between July 16-22, 2020.
The Steam Game Festival Autumn Edition will take place between October 7-13, 2020. This will be the third such event, as the very first one, simply called The Game Festival, was held December 12-14, 2019.
