Bethesda announced that the next Starfield update will be put into Steam Beta starting next week. Once the new update has been tested and feedback provided by players on Steam, it will release the new update for all PC and Xbox players.
The new update will feature Nvidia DLSS support with frame generation, display and HDR controls were supported, and other optimizations, improvements, and fixes. Bethesda is allowing fans to opt-in to try the new Starfield update through the Steam Beta options on Steam.
More details about the upcoming Steam Beta update will be released at a later date. We do know it will arrive on or after November 5, 2023.
Due to Bethesda allowing mod support for the game, fans have been working on their own self-dubbed “Starfield Community Patch Project” to improve the game’s stability, fix bugs, correct typos and make improvements to the overall experience of the base game. The community patch is made possible due to a group of mods who have come together to log and fix errors like misplaced objects, script errors, faulty missions, game-breaking exploits, and other commonly experienced errors within Starfield.
Starfield released on September 6, 2023, making it the first new IP for Bethesda in 25 years. Starfield is available worldwide on PC and Xbox Series X. The game is also available on Xbox Game Pass.
