Starfield ‘Sowing Discord’ Guide

The Starfield Ryujin Industries faction storyline as a ton of quests for players to do as part of being a corporate spy, such as the “Sowing Discord” quest. This particular quest picks up after “Access Is Key” and sees players stick around on Neon to try and convince some corporate higher-ups to side with your company. Here’s what to do.

How to Complete “Sowing Discord” in Starfield

Note: Spoilers ahead for this quest.

Once Imogene gives you the Starfield “Sowing Discord” quest, you can immediately get started with this brief but exciting mission full of persuasion opportunities. You’ll start by either equipping a suit you already own or heading to the first floor of Ryujin Industries to buy a suit there to wear.

After you get dressed, head to the Astral Lounge on the opposite end of the main corridor in Neon. Sometime before you get there, read the dossiers in your inventory on both of your targets before talking to them. You’ll need that information. After you have, go inside the Astral Lounge and speak with Zola on the couches on the far right side of the dance floor.

Use persuasion to convince Zola to not work with Infinity LTD. If you read the dossiers, you’ll pretty much have a free ride in this conversation even if your persuasion skill sucks, as you have all the information. This isn’t a complicated moment.

After that, head upstairs using the elevator and speak with Arthur next. You’ll basically do the exact same thing here as you did with Zola and persuade him against working with Infinity LTD. Again, your persuasion skill shouldn’t be an issue since you read the dossiers.

Go to the end of the second floor of the Astral Lounge to the marked room. Pick the lock on the door, enter when no one is around, and steal the presentation document on the table. I highlighted it in the screenshot above. Return to Imogene in the Ryujin Industries office to get your reward.

If you were successful in everything and didn’t get caught stealing, you’ll get an impressive reward of two Digipicks and 11,000 credits.

Starfield is available for the Xbox Series X/S and PC.
