Starfield ‘Sabotage’ Quest Guide

Starfield features a lot of challenging quests, including stealth ones, but none compare to the “Sabotage” mission. This particular quest is the final true challenge for the Ryujin Industries faction storyline and requires players to break into a facility and, well, sabotage everything there. Here’s what you need to do to complete this challenging quest.

How to Complete Sabotage in Starfield

Note: Full spoilers lie ahead for this Ryujin Industries quest.

The Starfield “Sabotage” mission begins right after completing the previous quest, “The Key Ingredient.” The game recommends you do stealth for this quest, but it is nearly impossible to accomplish this without spending unnecessary hours. I fully recommend going in taking on everyone at the Infinity LTD facility.

This is how I handled the mission and it makes things so much easier. Here are the full steps to complete this quest:

  1. Start the quest by speaking with Dalton in the security area.
  2. Go to the meeting and then talk to Veena.
  3. Have the implant inserted into your head and then test out the manipulation feature on the marked subject.
  4. Speak with Dalton once more and then head to the Infinity LTD office on New Atlantis.
  5. It doesn’t matter if you choose the rooftop entrance or go through the front doors under disguise, especially if you don’t approach this stealthily.
  6. Follow the quest marker to break into the R&D department. This is easier to reach from the marketing area if you go through the front entrance and speak with the receptionist like I did.
  7. Interact with Lucas’ computer in the R&D department office to sabotage it.
  8. Obtain the marked R&D keycard.
  9. Follow the marker to Faye’s computer in the next area further down.
  10. Sabotage that computer as well.
  11. Follow the marker further into the R&D department to find the Neuroamp prototype and steal it.
  12. Take the evidence you were given at the start and head to the SSNN office nearby and hand it over to David Barron.
  13. Go back to Ryujin Industries in Neon on Volii Alpha in the Volii System to talk to Masako and complete the quest.

Starfield is available for the Xbox Series X/S and PC.
