Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone said the Stardew Valley 1.5 Switch, PS4, and Xbox One update is now in the wild. The creator said the patch’s approvals are all finished and it will be rolling out on February 11, 2021 on Twitter. This comes almost three weeks after it was submitted for certification and two months after the PC patch.
Here’s the official announcement.
The Stardew Valley 1.5 Update for Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation are out, and should be available on all platforms within the next couple of hours.

The Stardew Valley 1.5 update is one of the biggest recent content drops for the game. It added things like a whole new farm type by a beach and an ability to alter the community bundles when starting a game. There is a new location you can visit, as well as new items. You’ll also be able to change your avatar’s name or gender, in case you want to change your look but keep your current farm and save file.
Barone also offered an update on the issue people in Australia are having actually buying Stardew Valley. It isn’t showing up in the PlayStation Store. He noted that it the listing could return “very soon.”
It should be very soon (I believe it will), but I can’t fully guarantee that there won’t be another issue blocking it.
