Now that Sora is the last Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter, other support is drawing to a close too. Nintendo announced that certain in-game events procedures will change. Beginning on November 19, 2021, Nintendo will rerun past SSBU Spirit Board and Event Tourney events. This will be done instead of new ones. Riding into Battle will be the last “new” Event Tourney.
Nintendo first announced this in Japan before the worldwide reveal came up. Here’s Nintendo of Europe’s confirmation. It also mentioned “popular” SSBU Spirit Board and Event Tourney events, so it could be possible that not all will return.
From 19/11 onwards, popular spirit events and event tourneys will return in #SmashBrosUltimate. Have fun replaying your favourites, or catch up on challenges you missed out on!

As a reminder, if you missed a Spirit Board event, eventual updates add new Spirits to SSBU so you can obtain them outside the weekend festivities. The last “new” Spirits added hailed from Metroid Dread.
The last SSBU Event Tourney focuses on stages with vehicles. Between November 12-15, 2021, people will be fighting on stages like Big Blue, Corneria, Rainbow Cruise, and Pilotwings.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available for the Nintendo Switch.
