Square Enix’s Balan Company ‘Founded’

Square Enix has opened a website and begun teasing a new “brand” for its games. The curtains have been raised on Balan Company. However, this isn’t a full reveal just yet. Rather, it is teasing a new “action game brand” that will put similar sorts of titles under the same banner with a website and opportunity to join an email newsletter. [Thanks, Nibellion and Gamer!]

The website is available worldwide and in multiple languages, suggesting Square Enix’s Balan Company isn’t going to be limited to select regions. It also has a single opening message, which is as follows,

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the show of wonders brought to you by the Balan Company. We thank you for your patience while we make preparations for the grand opening.

Various professionals from different fields, both within Square Enix and outside the company, will apparently come together for projects under this branding.

More news on Square Enix’s Balan Company will be released presumably in the near future and should go over both the first participants and projects.

In other Square Enix updates, Babylon’s Fall progress between the company and PlatinumGames is supposedly going well. It is also making an action game with Dragon’s Dogma lead Ryota Suzuki.
