Square Enix Are Trying To Get More People Into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Square Enix have announced a free trial campaign for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. By downloading the game’s client, you can try the game out for 14 days free of cost, and see if it’s something you’re into or not.

The free trial client can be downloaded at this site. The trial will allow you to raise yourself up to level 20. Certain other limitations have been placed on the free trial as well, which you can learn about here.

Additionally, Square Enix have also announced a “Recruit a Friend” campaign for existing players of the game. You can recruit a friend  via the Mog Station, and if your friend accepts your invitation and begins playing the game, both players will receive bonus items within the game.

Here’s a couple of things to note about the Recruit a Friend campaign:

• Recruiters must currently be subscribed to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

• Rewards will be given to the recruiter and invitee once 30 days of subscription have been purchased by the invited player. An additional reward, an exclusive two-seat chocobo mount, will be provided to the recruiter after the invitee has purchased a cumulative 90 days of subscription time.
