Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launched today with server hiccups and long wait times to log in. Square Enix plans on expanding its server capacity, but in the meantime they are stopping sales digital sales of the MMORPG. You can still buy Final Fantasy XIV, but you have to get it in stores. However, I would still wait until these server issues get ironed out before visiting Eorzea.

On a positive note, it sounds like those three years Square Enix spent retooling Final Fantasy XIV may have paid off since people bought the PC/PS3 game at launch.
