Square Enix has revealed a new mech action figure based on the Weltall from Xenogears. The company has also opened pre-orders for the Form-ism Act figure on its Japanese e-Store with a price tag of 39,600 yen (~$275).
The non-scale action figure of the starting Gear of the game’s protagonist Fei Fong Wong will stand at around 20 cm (~7.87 in) tall. Its body parts will have a wide range of movements to help reproduce martial arts poses, such as the high kick. This new figure will also have an original feature where the owner can extend its wing binders to trigger a new mode resembling System Id.
Here are some of the sample images showing the poses the Weltall Form-ism Act figure can take:
Square Enix had previously released Structure Arts model kits of four Gears from the game, including Weltall, in March 2021. While those kits required the owner to assemble the Gears, this new action figure will come pre-built with die-cast joints. Square Enix also had the Gear’s designer Junya Ishigaki supervise the action figure’s production to make sure it stayed true to the original design.
The Form-ism Act action figure of the Weltall from Xenogears will be available on February 22, 2025.
