The latest issue of Famitsu has special coverage celebrating the first anniversary of War of the Visions and the 5th anniversary of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. It also includes an interview with Square Enix’s producer Kay Hirono and director Yugo Ogura. The team revealed future plans for War of the Visions here. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089!]
Here are some of the highlights from the War of the Visions interview:
- “The second act won’t start immediately after the first act ends. After the ending of Act 1, we’ll enter an epilogue-like episode called the Interlude.”
- “Glaciela’s popularity is honestly unexpected for us. The Interlude will tell people what she had been doing behind Mont.”
- “The addition of summons will not end with Bahamut at all. We’ll still continue adding them at the same pace from here on out.”
- “Personally, I want to use my power to improve Raids and complete gameplay that can be done in the Guild.”
- “As for new content, we are planning something connecting to stories that will give affections to characters.”
- “We’re also plotting a PvP format with Draft Battles. The format will involve each player showing 5 characters but only actually sending out 3 characters to fight.”
- “We want to include solo-exclusive strong enemies and more endgame content.”
