A Square-Enix game that has nothing to do with any established franchise, swords or DS: Style? You bet. Square-Enix is taking one of their old flash games and remaking it into a full a DS game with wireless play through game sharing. On the surface Yosumin DS looks like Bejeweled, but the game isn’t about matching up same colored shapes. The goal of the game is to make rectangles by using the same pieces to mark where the right angles are.
Take a look at the picture on the right. Notice how the yellow diamonds are highlighted? See the green box surrounding the area? There are yellow diamonds at each of the corners, which means you can make a rectangle using those four pieces. The goal of the Yosumin DS is to spot rectangles like that one to capture pieces. Now that you have an idea how to play give the flash game a whirl. If you like it look for the DS version on November 8.
