Square Enix Prepares Modern Warfare 2 Bundle For Japan

Yes, you read that right. Square Enix, best known for games like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, will publish Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in Japan.

This won’t be a small release like when Spike, the studio behind all of those Dragon Ball fighting games, handled the series in Japan. Square Enix is bringing over the limited edition Xbox 360 bundle too. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 package contains the same items (a Xbox 360 w/ 2 controllers plus 250GB hard drive) as the domestic package. It’s just made for Japan and has Square Enix’s logo on it.

Last year, Square Enix and Microsoft partnered to release a Last Remnant console. This year’s holiday bundle is for Modern Warfare 2.
