On November 23 and 24, Square Enix will hold an open conference in Japan. Agni’s Philosophy, a realtime tech demo for the Luminous Engine, is the main event.
Day one kicks off with a 30 minute presentation explaining Agni’s Philosophy. Then Square Enix will spend an hour introducing the project by showing concept work and later two hours explaining realtime work flow.
The second day continues the realtime workflow workshop and follows up with a two hour session on the art of realtime graphics. Later that day, there is an hour long game development project management seminar, a 30 minute course on how Final Fantasy XIV figures out a server path, and finally a lecture on next generation game artificial intelligence architecture.
Square Enix will take registration applications for the conference starting on September 12. Here’s a look at how Square Enix produced Agni’s Philosophy.
