This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine features a special article called “The Truth of Rumors 2014,” where the top brass of Square Enix took it upon themselves to talk about the latest rumors such as Final Fantasy X-3 and a possible sequel for Dissidia Final Fantasy. (Thanks, Game-Jouhou)

According to the report, Square Enix reiterates their earlier response to western media, when they said that Final Fantasy X and X-2 producer Yoshinori Kitase currently isn’t working on a Final Fantasy X-3.

On the subject of a possible sequel for Dissidia, series director Mitsunori Takahashi says “I definitely want to make it.”

Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto says that the development of Final Fantasy XV is going smoothly, and they just about wrapped up the new scenes for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, which is nearing its final stage of development. He also says that they should be revealing more information about the game very soon.

We’ll have more on the rumors later this week, when this week’s Famitsu issue gets published.
