Square Enix announced on social media that is searching for feedback on the Final Fantasy series and its games, and asked people to fill out a survey about the titles. This is only live until January 9, 2025, and people must be over 16 to participate. If they meet criteria, they can head to the official site to voice their opinions. There are 22 questions total.
Things start out with fairly typical demographic and platform information. Square Enix asks in the survey which systems you use and how many games total, not just Final Fantasy titles, you bought in 2024. It then asks how someone gets news and what they want to see on social media.
After those questions are out of the way, things get into more specific titles. Square Enix asks if people played War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius or Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, then asks if we are still playing either of those games. From there, it asks about major mainline entries and some spin-offs. It asks people to select which games between the first and sixteenth someone played. Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Dissidia Final Fantasy, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, World of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Type-0, and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon are all mentioned. It then asks which Final Fantasy game from that list someone played first and what influenced that decision. After that, the company narrows things down and asks which of the three played Final Fantasy games someone liked most in the survey.
Awareness comes up as well. Square Enix asks if people know about the Final Fantasy Portal site. It asks if we bought merchandise. It also asks who you talk and play with. Things close out with more demographic information and an opportunity to share comments about the series.
The Square Enix Final Fantasy games survey will run until January 6, 2025.
