Square Enix Files Drakengard & Princess And The Legendary Ring Trademarks

This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Square Enix filed a protective trademark for Drag-on Dragoon, the Japanese title for Drakengard, in Japan. No word if Square Enix plans on doing anything with the series, which was a prequel to Nier, but this new trademark could be for a digital re-release. More interesting is a new trademark from Square Enix for Princess and the Legendary Ring, which doesn’t appear connected to any announced title. A subtitle for a new Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles game, perhaps?

Sega also registered Chaos Heroes Online and Red Blood. Namco Bandai filed trademarks for Unison Chronicles and Unisonant Pack. Hmm… I wonder if those are tied to Tales of the World: Tactics Union.
