Square Enix Confirms Final Fantasy XIII Release Date

The leak is true! After five years of waiting, Final Fantasy XIII will make its debut on December 17 in Japan. Unlike all of the main Final Fantasy games, Square Enix is launching this with a CERO B rating. It’s not a severe rating by any means, but past Final Fantasy games have been rated all ages.

Final Fantasy XIII will retail for 9,240 yen ($95) after tax. At the premiere party Square Enix mentioned they’re aiming for a spring release overseas.
