Square Enix Announces 9 Manga and Books at Anime Expo 2023

At Anime Expo 2023, Square Enix announced some manga, picture books, art books, and other upcoming releases. Some of the announcements were confirmations of things we already knew about, like The Art of Final Fantasy XVI. However, it also included My Dress-Up Darling Official Anime Fanbook and Soul Eater Not: The Perfect Edition volume 1.

  • Just Like Mona Lisa volume 1 – July 16, 2024
  • A Man and His Cat picture book – June 4, 2024
  • Mobsters in Love volume 1 – May 7, 2024
  • My Dress-Up Darling Official Anime Fanbook – June 18, 2024
  • Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You volume 1 – February 20, 2024
  • Soul Eater Not: The Perfect Edition volume 1 – July 23, 2024
  • Victoria’s Electric Coffin volume 1 – April 2, 2024
  • The Villainess’ Guide to (Not) Falling in Love volume 1 – March 12, 2024

Ahead of the event, Square Enix announced a few Final Fantasy books. Two Final Fantasy XVI art books are headed first to Japan, then to North America. We will also see Encyclopaedia Eorzea: The World of Final Fantasy XIV Volume III in December 2023. That will focus on the Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions’ lore and art.
