Splatoon Will Get Fresh With A Squid Girl Costume This August

Ever since Splatoon was first revealed, fans hoped to see some sort of Squid Girl, or Ika Musume, collaboration. In this week’s Japanese magazines, it’s been revealed that the collaboration fans have been waiting for is on the way for August. [Thanks, @ROSYUxCO]

Earlier last week, Splatton’s official Twitter account shared a look at some Splatoon x Squid Girl fan art and mentioned that there will be a collaboration later on.

The magazine bit says that a collaboration with Squid Girl is finally going to happen, and it will be available as part of a free update sometime in August. More details on the collaboration will be revealed in the near future.
