A limited edition Splatoon 3 bento box will be available in Japan starting April 1, 2024. The bento box costs 1,750 yen (or about $11.55,) and it will be released as part of a collaboration campaign with the Kyushu Railway Company or JR Kyushu.
The particular variety of bento box is an “ekiben,” or a bento lunch box set sold at train stations, and two stores in Hakata Station, Fukuoka, will offer the bento lunch box. The bento includes nori seaweed art featuring the Splatoon 3 logo as well as an inkling and octoling in their transformed forms.
In addition, the bento includes foods and ingredients typical of Fukuoka (located in Kyushu) like fried squid rings and Yamaya dry mentaiko (spicy cod roe.) One of two novelty stickers from the Splatoon 3 JR Kyushu collaboration campaign will be included as a bonus with the purchase of each set.
