The Nintendo Switch Online paid subscription service goes live in September, but despite Splatoon 2’s online-centric gameplay, producer Hisashi Nogami is not concerned that the paid online will affect the online population in any major way. [Thanks, Polygon!]
While Nogami doesn’t think it will have no influence whatsoever, the Splatoon 2 team will be redoubling their commitment to the community, and will reaffirm for them that the game will continue to be supported.

Splatoon 2 is available on Nintendo Switch.
