Spike Working On Way of the Samurai 2 PSP Port

Last year Spike released Way of the Samurai Portable (aka Samurai Dou Portable in Japan) on the PSP. Guess what’s coming out later year!

Way of the Samurai 2 Portable is scheduled to come out in Japan on September 3 for the budget price of 3,990 yen ($42). The PSP version has new modes, but Spike hasn’t revealed what they are yet.

Just for reference, ad hoc support for versus mode and extra swords were added to last year’s Way of Samurai PSP port.

So far no publisher has announced plans to publish Way of the Samurai Portable or Way of the Samurai 2 Portable. The now defunct Bam! Entertainment had the rights to Way of the Samurai on the PS2 and Capcom published Way of the Samurai 2.
