Spike Chunsoft, makers of Virtue’s Last Reward and critically acclaimed visual novels like 428, is making a Detective Conan game. Detective Conan: Marionette Symphony actually borrows a mechanic from 428, players can "zap" between characters and see the story from other perspectives.
The bottom screen has a bunch of monitors like from a security camera station. These monitors show players where characters are and you can switch to them by tapping a monitor. If a monitor is gray with white noise you can’t switch to that character. Who can you play as?
Conan Edogawa
Heiji Hattori (Harley Hartwell)
Ran Mori (Rachel Moore)
Ai Haibara (Vi Graythorn)
Detective Boys
Kaito Kid
Detective Conan: Marionette Symphony keeps track of all the timelines with a chart showing the progress of all the characters. You can look back at the series of events too. How does Conan point out the truth? game has more than 100 different truth cards you can present as evidence.
Detective Conan: Marionette Symphony comes out on April 25.
