Insomniac Games announced both the PS4 and PS5 versions of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will get a new Advanced Tech Suit. It will show up in each version of the game, after people grab the March 30, 2021 patch. It’s the major addition, as the rest of the update’s inclusions work toward changing the game or making it work better.
A tweet revealing Miles’ new look also served as abbreviated patch notes for the game. We get to see him both standing still and in action while wearing his new costume. It turns out the PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also have some suits that look different after the update, due to “realistic muscle deformation.”
Rolling out today, our new #MilesMoralesPS4 #MilesMoralesPS5 update adds the Advanced Tech Suit and includes various fixes. Additionally on PS5 only, the update adds realistic muscle deformation on select suits. pic.twitter.com/1nnSvgJB2P

While this suit didn’t appear in the game until the update, we already knew it existed. That’s because there was a Miles Morales Funko Pop figure of him in the Advanced Tech Suit released a while back. That was the first tip off that there were still Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales suits we hadn’t seen yet.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Past updates added features like ray-tracing.
