In the footage provided by Game Informer, Spider-Cat seems to have gone missing and lost his owner. Miles Morales then completes what appears to be a side-mission to find the cat hanging out in a backpack. Upon returning Spider-Cat to his comfy bed at the shop, the owner affectionately welcomes home his cat, “Spider-Man.” The owner then thanks Miles, the “other Spider-Man.” Afterward, this quest will unlock a suit for both Miles and Spider-Cat, in which the kitty dons an adorable, crime-fighting mask. He must keep his identity secret, after all.

Here is Game Informer’s footage.

The suit Miles can wear has Spider-Cat nestled comfortably in his backpack. When Miles fights, Spider-Cat will attack bad guys in tandem during the finishers. For those craving more about the game and the feline hero, we recently heard there will be a prequel book in November, followed by an art book in 2021. One can only hope Spider-Cat gets his time to shine in both.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch on November 12, 2020, for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
