Spice & Wolf VR Now Live On Kickstarter

Previously, we reported on Spice & Wolf VR beginning and smashing past its goal on Japanese crowdfunding platform Campfire, and now the Kickstarter campaign for people in the West has begun as well. The Kickstarter has a $70,487 goal, and has the same reward tiers as the Japanese version.

The current pledged amount has already surpassed this goal, but perhaps as the stretch goals for PSVR and Oculus Quest were reached in the Japanese crowdfunding campaign, Team Spicy Tails has yet to add any new stretch goals for the Kickstarter campaign. That said, because of requests by overseas people, the game will now ship to Singapore, Korea, Mexico, and Brazil as well.

Additionally, the PSVR and Oculus Quest versions of the game are likely to take longer to develop, and Team Spicy Tails cautioned that if you choose those options, you might have to wait a few months longer compared to the other versions.

Spice & Wolf VR will come to the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PC Oculus Quest, and also PlayStation VR in early 2019.
