Space Invaders get even with the Wii this summer

Three months have passed since Taito announced Space Invaders Get Even: Gyakushuu no Space Invaders (Space Invaders Get Even: Counterattack of the Space Invaders) and it’s almost ready to attack WiiWare. In the game players use the nunchuck’s analog stick to move a UFO and point the remote to position neon colored space invaders. The goal is to raze a city and demolish tank bosses at the end of each stage.

Space Invaders Get Even will come out in Japan this summer, in time for the 30^th anniversary of the arcade game. No other release dates have been announced, but since Space Invaders Get Even is on WiiWare it’s coming to North America. Eventually. Sooner rather than later, if the ESRB rating for a Space Invaders game on the Wii is related to Space Invaders Get Even.
