In Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash, the upcoming PlayStation VR game from Team Grounding and Sega, people won’t just be dancing alongside Ulala. Team Grounding already established that Lou and Kee, two rookie reports with Space Channel 5 who are also twins, will tag along to be our avatars. Now, at the 2018 Tokyo Game Show, new screenshots and information has come up about the game. (Thanks, 4Gamer!)

The TGS 2018 Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash demo had people playing as either Lou or Kee, one of the reporters learning from Ulala. Tthe first level in the TGS 2018 demo is the first level from the original Space Channel 5. While the area looks the same, it was noted that there are new actions to perform and is new voice acting. Intentional gaze guidance is used, to help make sure people pay attention, and dancing is performed only with hand motions.

While the stage shown in the TGS 2018 is familiar, new content will appear in Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash. This will involve characters, stages, and storylines.

Here is the character art for Lou and Kee, as well as a batch of new screenshots showing one of the rookie reporters in the game.
