The SoulCalibur VI Samurai Shodown crossover is about to begin. The next DLC character for the game has been dated. The SoulCalibur VI Haohmaru debut has been set for March 31, 2020. In addition, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showing off what the samurai can do in the game.
While he was announced for the game back at Evo 2019, the first look at the SoulCalibur VI Haohmaru DLC arrived at Evo Japan 2020. That initial clip spent a little over a minute looking at the warrior. This one heralding his launch date is more extensive. It clocks in at over a minute and a half and does an admirable job of looking at how his moveset will work in the game.
Here’s the SoulCalibur VI Haohmaru launch trailer.
Haohmaru joins quite a few other SoulCalibur VI crossover characters. NieR: Automata’s 2B joined the cast back in December 2018 as DLC. We also had The Witcher star Geralt of Rivia appear as an initial member of the cast at launch. Also, the series has been known for bringing in people from different franchises, such as Link from The Legend of Zelda and Yoda from Star Wars.
SoulCalibur VI is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Haohmaru will join the cast on March 31, 2020.
