The PlayStation Vita now has a handful of hunting games with titles such as Toukiden, God Eater 2, Soul Sacrifice. With even more on the way, it might be difficult to keep track of or team up with your hunter buddies. To address this, Sony have introduced Kyoutou Guild (Joint Struggle) app for smartphone, that lets you do just that.

As we all know, hunting games are always more and rewarding to play with others. Sony’s new Kyoutou Guild app is meant to help you communicate with others and make new buddies to take on tough foes with. This app is also compatible with social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Line.

Here’s how it works:

After registering your account, you’ll be completing your profile by adding all the hunting games you’ve been playing. Your profile will also include your badges, titles, and player IDs.

Once you have your account ready to go, you can start using the app by starting a “Kyoutou Ticket”. This is done by selecting a title you want to play, with options such as “let’s defeat this enemy” or “I’d like to clear this mission”.

Other people who’ve been playing the game can check all the tickets out and join any mission they’d like. Participants aren’t limited to your friends on Kyoutou Guild , but anyone who has the game may see it and send you a friend request to join.

The app also has a “voice stamp” feature, where you can press certain phrases before, during, and after the hunt. This can also be used as a useful communication tool while taking out monsters.

When all is said and done, you’ll be able to show off your end results and who you played with through social media networks.

Depending on how often and well you play your favorite games, you’ll be awarded different badges for each game that come with various ranks. This can be used for bragging rights and also a way to gauge other players on their respective games.

The Kyoutou Guild app is currently available for Android devices, with an iOS version expected to be released later this month.
