Sony also shared details concerning co-streaming of the live broadcast. Those who co-stream will want to keep in mind that copyrighted music may play during the broadcast, which could result in a strike for the co-streaming channel. However, Sony does encourage co-streaming of the upcoming September State of Play.

Information concrete details about what could show up during the State of Play has not been shared. But Sony generally uses this time to showcase a plethora of games, either through the release of additional trailers and game announcements. And in this case, Sony has shared that news concerning over twenty upcoming PlayStation 5 and PSVR2 games will appear in the broadcast.

The Sony State of Play that took place on January 2024 features a total of fifteen different games. This included the likes of Stellar Blade. In the past, games series such as Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and God of War have also appeared as part of the program.

The upcoming State of Play will held on September 24, 2024 at 3pm PST/6pm EST/12am CET.
