Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe to Open in Texas

Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe, which is a restaurant based on Sonic the Hedgehog, will open its first Texas location in Katy on May 4, 2024. This restaurant will be a pop-up restaurant that’ll only be open for three months.

You’ll be able to find it at 347 S Mason Rd in Katy, Texas. At the cafe, you’ll be able to get items based on the characters and world of Sonic the Hedgehog. The restaurant will also offer exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog merchandise, such as T-shirts and hats. You can check out the menu here:

  • Golden Ring onion rings
  • Green Hill Vegan Chili Cup
  • Knuckles Sandwich
  • Piko Piko Tenders
  • Sonic’s Classic Chili Dog

As for the drinks menu, here it is:

  • Blue Blur blueberry slush
  • Smashing Echidna fruit punch slush
  • Sweet Amy strawberry milkshake
  • Tails Spin Tea
  • Team Dark mocha milkshake

When you order your food, it’ll come in custom packaging featuring the main Sonic characters.

The Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe debuted in July 2023 at San Diego Comic-Con. Because of its popularity, a second pop-up location opened up in November 2023. This one was in Chino Hills. This will mark not only the third pop-up restaurant, but also the first one outside of California.

Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe will be in Texas from May 4 to August 4, 2024. For those who can’t visit, there will also be a Sonic promotion at IHOP until May 5, 2024.
